Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I hire you if I’m not an attorney?
A: LiDoServ primarily supports licensed attorneys. In select situations, we may assist self-represented litigants at their direction — without offering legal advice or strategy.

Q: Do you provide legal advice or representation?
A: No. LiDoServ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation. All services are offered for informational and professional support only.

Q: What kind of documents do you draft?
A: We assist with legal motions, letters, briefs, declarations, formatting, and trial documents — especially for civil, business, probate, real estate, and employment litigation.

Q: Do you work on court holidays or public holidays?
A: Yes — we’re available on most holidays, including many court-observed holidays. Availability may vary depending on the service and scheduling needs, so we recommend reaching out early if you need support on or near a holiday.

Q: Is there a rush fee for urgent projects?
A: Yes. Projects requiring delivery in under 72 hours may incur a rush fee between 25% and 75% of the base cost. The exact fee depends on the project’s complexity, deadline, and staff availability. You’ll always receive a clear quote before any rush fee is applied, and no work begins without your approval.

Q: Do you require a deposit to start services?
A: Yes. A $1,000 deposit is required to begin services. This deposit secures your project on our calendar and allows our team to start work promptly. All invoices are due upon receipt, and the cost of work performed will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance is billed and payable immediately upon delivery.

Q: Do you work with attorneys outside of California?
A: Yes. We support attorneys nationwide, including in California, New York, Illinois, Arizona, New Mexico, and other jurisdictions in both state and federal courts.

Q: How fast can you complete a project?
A: Turnaround depends on project scope, but urgent filings may be completed in as little as 24–48 hours. We work quickly and discreetly under pressure.

Q: Can I request mediation through this form?
A: Yes. Mediation services are offered independently by trained neutrals and are not combined with legal drafting for either party in the same matter.

Q: How do I book mediation services?
A: To reserve your mediation date, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 20 calendar days prior to the scheduled mediation. This ensures we can prepare and confirm your session without delay. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the payment details once your booking is submitted.

Q: What is the ideal way to start working with LiDoServ?
A: The ideal way to begin is by placing your order online and submitting the $1,000 deposit. This ensures your project is scheduled promptly and gives our team the green light to begin work. Once your deposit is received, we’ll confirm the timeline and begin coordinating with you right away.

Q: Can I call to discuss my project?
A: To ensure we meet deadlines and provide consistent, high-quality work, we ask that all initial inquiries come through our online form, chat, or by texting us at (951) 400-5529. This helps us track requests efficiently and avoid workflow disruptions from unscheduled or repeated phone calls. Once your project is underway, we’re happy to schedule a phone or Zoom meeting if needed.
